“Use your words” is a popular advice used by parents. We encourage our children to use their words as they struggle to communicate their needs, their wants, and their feelings. We chose our name “Lexis Pediatric Therapy” to reflect the need for words to communicate in our lives.

But when…

children do not pronounce words clearly (Speech Sound Delays);

when they haven't started talking or having limited vocabularies for their age (Early Intervention);

when they have difficulty following directions, answering questions or expressing themselves in complete sentences or in storytelling (Language Delays)

and when children have a plethora of words, but they struggle to use them to achieve a goal, such as to join in a conversation or make friends (Social Skills Delays),

then I can guide you and your child in navigating the challenges presented and finding strategies that will enhance your child’s speech, language, and social development.

I am here to provide you the tools, the expertise, and the resources to help your children develop the power to use lexis in a clear manner, to use lexis meaningfully and to use lexis to achieve all communication goals.
